Q: What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?
A: Okay well I think that I am going to go with romance. I love it when my books have a romantic relationship. Even if the characters never end up together I still love it. I love the tension that it brings to the story. Also, I love, love triangles....adds a lot of tension if it is done right!
So, do you have a reading guilty pleasure???
Romance really pulls me into a story. I like the blunders and misunderstandings. I like rough starts and opposites being forced to work together. I'm a sucker for all of it. Old GFC follower here, so I hit you up on Twitter (@robgirlbooks). Here's my FF.
ReplyDeleteI love it when things are bumpy...you know what they say opposites attract. Thanks!
DeleteI have to agree with all of the above, Love Triangles give great spice!!

i love romance in books too, although i've gotten a bit tired of the love triangles as of lately, but if it's done really well i don't mind :)

Hopping through. Tension is often the best parts of a romance - more interesting than when they get together.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
Books must have a romantic element in them for me to be interested, even if it's just a tease. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by on the hop and BTW, love your blog design! New follower via GFC. :)
