Bout of Books 6.0 Read-A-Thon

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 6.0 team

Recently I set goals for my blog, one of them was to blog more, and in this case it will be reading more as well!! This is my first read-a-thon and I am really looking forward to it! At first I wasn't going to do it, but I just got a ton of new books and have decided that I seriously need to get reading!!

~And participate in at least 1 mini-challenge

New Year Resolution Challenge:
The character I am going to choose is Chase Williams from The Protector Series by M.R. Merrick! This is by far one of my favorite series, I am in complete love with the characters and the crazy worlds that Merrick creates!! Yup major love going on here! Anyway, here are Chase's New Year Resolutions:
1: Try not to be so hard on self
2: Don't let the lose of my friend prevent me from accomplishing my goal
3: Don't let thirst for revenge take over
4: Continue to work at my anger and control issues
5: Try really hard not to kill Vincent....yet!
6: And absolutely don't let Rayna go for any reason, no matter what she or I say!!

    1. I usually don't read books that all hyped up because usually I find they disappoint, but this book was great!! I really wish I would have read it sooner! This one really lives up to all the hype! :)

  8. I just read Obsidian! Wow. That's all I can say. I gobbled it up like Thanksgiving dinner. Katy and Daemon are one couple with some kind of chemistry!

I'd like to read a book a day but weekends are tough and then I had to go to the dentist yesterday! What a spoiler. I tried to read while I was in the chair. No go. :)
